As per usual, the staggared elections for our board of directors occurred during the 13th Annual OAGS Meeting on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel.
Of the 14 board members, half came to the end of their two-year terms. All seven agreed to run for re-election and since there were no nominations from the floor, they were re-elected for another 2-year term.
We would like to thank all those who participated in the election and look forward to having you join us again during the next staggared elections at next year's 14th Annual Meeting on November 1, 2008.
The officer positions were discussed and voted upon by the executive during the board meeting in the new year. As of April 5, 2008, it was confirmed that Dr. Jeff Kolbasnik of Milton, Ontario would succeed Dr. Angus Maciver as the new OAGS President. See below for the complete listing.
